PRACTICAL TRAINING

ENVIRONMENT AWARENESS TRAINING COURSE

We understand that navigating your way through environmental requirements can be daunting. That’s why we've designed environmental training courses with content and delivery tailored to those currently working in the industry.

The course would suit employees of local councils, construction and development companies, and those looking for up-to-date industry insights.

A typical course provides the basics of the various environmental protection and management requirements of State and Commonwealth legislation.

The training is delivered by Artefact’s in-house environmental consultant Clinton Jurd – who has over 20 years practical experience and knowledge with a background as a tradesperson.

The training material and case studies Clinton has developed are based on real environmental situations with the aim of raising employee awareness about environmental protection, environmental management, and environmental responsibility.

At Artefact, we want to ensure environmental best practice is embedded in the planning and operational activities of employees, contractors, and agencies. That's why we've made sure attendees will benefit from direct links between the training and their day-to-day work.

LEARNING OUTCOMES

On completion of this course, attendees will:

  • Be more aware of the intent and objective of environmental legislation.
  • Understand the practical requirements of environmental legislation.
  • Understand the implications of non-compliance of environmental legislation.
  • Understand the potential benefits of going beyond compliance.

WE'RE FLEXIBLE TO YOUR NEEDS

Courses can be delivered in person or online and can be tailored to suit the individual requirements of the client.
